ASSOCIATED UNIVERSITIES :
- University Sorbonne Paris Nord

MENTION : Molecular and Cellular Biology (BMC)
SPECIALITE : Inflammation and Inflammatory Diseases (IID)

Présentation

The master specialty« Inflammation and Inflammatory diseases » is organized by the INFLAMEX consortium that groups research laboratories from the University of Paris and the University Sorbonne Paris Nord.

This specialty aims at educating a new generation of high-level researchers in the field of Inflammation and its impact on diseases. The IID master offers a transdisciplinary approach to the study of inflammatory processes at the interface between fundamental and applied research.

The formation is aimed at students with a strong interest in immunology, cell biology, molecular biology and human diseases. The M2 is also opened to foreign students and an incentive program is proposed.

Compétences attendues à l'issu de la formation

Scientific knowledge acquired at the end of the Master.
-In depth knowledge of molecular and cellular mechanisms of Inflammation. Understand how those mechanisms participate in the development of inflammatory diseases in human.
-Acquire the know-how of the study of inflammatory diseases.

Capacities acquired.
Students are expected to acquire the following capacities:
– To define important scientific questions and establish rigorous scientific processes.
– To look for a traineeship in a professional environment (cover letter, interview)
– To work in a professional environment
– To spread and communicate scientific informations (analyse of articles) and to present their own scientific results.
